Made entirely of aluminum, Salsbury U.S.P.S. approved 4800 series deluxe rural mailboxes feature a 1/8” thick extruded aluminum body with a 1/8” thick die cast aluminum front door and rear cover. Deluxe rural mailboxes also feature an elegant textured powder coated finish available in two (2) designer colors and include an adjustable burgundy signal flag and a magnetic door catch. The die cast door is attached to the body with a full-width stainless steel hinge allowing for smooth operation. Deluxe rural mailboxes can be mounted on standard, classic, decorative or deluxe mailbox posts (see related items) or a base of your choice. Multiple deluxe rural mailboxes may be mounted on classic 2-sided posts (#4892), deluxe 2-sided posts for two (2) mailboxes (#4872), deluxe 2-sided posts for four (4) mailboxes (#4874) or on standard posts using optional spreaders (related items #4882, #4883 and #4884). Deluxe rural mailboxes are approved for U.S.P.S. curbside mail delivery.
Made of heavy duty aluminum, deluxe newspaper holders (#4815D) are a unique option for deluxe rural mailboxes. Each unit has a solid back and includes mounting hardware to easily attach to mailbox posts and spreaders. Deluxe newspaper holders feature an elegant powder coated finish available in two (2) attractive colors.
