The industry leader in the manufacturing and distributing of quality commercial and residential mailboxes, Salsbury Industries is officially licensed by the USPS to manufacture Cluster Box Units (CBU’s) and we are the exclusive supplier for all their CBU, Outdoor Parcel Locker (OPL), and Indoor Parcel Locker (IPL) needs. Our company offers a wide variety of USPS approved products and all of our mailboxes are delivered fully assembled and ready for installation.

Our History

Salsbury Industries was founded in 1936 by Foster Salsbury to manufacture one of the first motor scooters in the United States. Since then, Salsbury Industries has excelled in manufacturing products that meet rigorous standards for a variety of applications. As postal standards have changed throughout the years, our design, engineering and manufacturing teams have been able to keep up with these changes and provide mailboxes that comply with current postal specifications. Our company has been awarded contracts to manufacture and supply mailboxes for the U.S. Postal Service, commercial builders, residential home builders and developers across the country. Salsbury Industries has developed a robust commercial and residential mailbox product line and manufactures and distributes products for apartments, condominiums, commercial buildings, corporate mailrooms, colleges, private postal centers, military bases, government agencies and many other installations.

As a manufacturer of Division 10 products, Salsbury Industries also manufactures and distributes a complete line of metal lockers, wood lockers, plastic lockers and locker benches. Our lockers are used in a wide variety of applications including schools, restaurants, day care facilities, pool areas, gyms, country clubs, day spas, hospitals, police and fire departments, apartments and residential homes. Salsbury Industries has excelled in the field of manufacturing since 1936. Operating in over 600,000 square feet in the greater Los Angeles area, our ISO 9001:2015 Certified vertically integrated manufacturing facilities and quality control procedures allow us to effectively and efficiently produce components that are machined, powder coated, assembled, packaged and shipped from our facilities. Salsbury Industries utilizes a complete line of machinery and equipment including robotic welding, precision water jet cutting, high speed sawing, CNC turret punching, press braking, milling, drilling, deburring and a state of the art powder coating line. We assemble all of the products we manufacture and fully inspect them prior to shipping. Our warehouses are filled with commercial and residential mailboxes to meet your requirements. Companies must undergo third-party audits by accredited certification boards in order to become ISO 9001:2015 certified.
